CHESTER’S FARM EAST LOTHIAN

This beautiful family home is situated in the heart of the lovely East Lothian hills.
Although already a very stylish property, I was brought in to help sort out the main living area. The whole house had a wonderful feel but the owners felt that the sitting room was dated with lots of terracotta tones and mis matching furniture. I choose soft blues, lots of natural tones with some cream and mauve to soften the feel in the room. A large sisal rug in the centre of the room helped to bring the room together and created a cosy feel around the wood burning stove.
With a few changes such a reupholstering furniture, new cushions, redecorating, large rug along with new lighting and artwork, the transformation of the room was incredible. I also helped with the master bedroom and with again, similar changes, the room was transformed and now has a very relaxing, calm feel to it.
