WAYSIDE GULLANE
This was a 'one room' project in this wonderful family home in Gullane. The house was already beautifully styled but the owners felt that the Sitting Room let the rest of the house down. Before I started, the room was very uninspiring with an old fashioned fireplace, leather furniture and just a generally dated feel to it. With the introduction of the natural flooring 'Sisal', beautiful furniture upholstered in linen and a soft mauve cotton/linen fabric, a wood burner and some stylish shelving to balance the room and bring everything together, the room was transformed! It now has a very calm, restful feel to it and thankfully the owners are delighted. The next step is to get the curtains up which will complete the room.
